Q. What is the Patient Satisfaction Continuous Improvement Survey?
A. The Patient Satisfaction Continuous Improvement Survey helps General Practice Providers improve their service by continuously getting feedback from their patients.

Q. Why do I need to carry out continuous patient satisfaction surveys?
A. Practices are under a lot of pressure to improve their services and meet the demands of their patients. The yearly mandatory surveys have too many conflicting questions, take a long time to be processed and are unsuitable for continuous improvement.

Q. Which areas do the survey cover?
A. Waiting Times, Staff Friendliness, Perception of Service Delivery, Ability to Cope after Visit

Q. How long does it take the patients to answer the questions?
A. About 1 Minute

Q. What do the patients have to do?
A. Patients receive a unique number from their practice, log on to www.patientsatisfactionsurvey.co.uk at their convenience and answer a few questions anonymously.

Q. What happens to the results?
A. GP Providers receive a summary report every six months. This report covers the results of the survey displayed in a series of simple graphs that is easy to read, interpret and act upon.

Q. Will the results be made public?
A. The results are for the GP surgery who then in the majority of cases make it available to their patients.

Q. How safe is the data collected?
A. Only GP providers can see their survey results. Patients are not identified as the survey is completely anonymous.

Q. Who is behind the Patient Satisfaction Survey Service?
A. The service was designed by Serayco in collaboration with an Equitable Access Practice in Kent. Serayco focuses on providing data-driven solutions in education and healthcare.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. Price will depend on the size of the practice as this will determine the minimum number of responses required. Please email serayco @ howsonuk.co.uk for more information.
